They were the house band at the famed, Mike's Garage. In the winter months, they would move the show to the Downstairs Lounge.

One of the first bands that I worked for was a group called Creed (NO not THAT one!). We had business cards!

The first time I ever saw them was when I was working with the Freedom Band. They were both playing at the NJ State Fair. I was blown away by Jules doing a killer Jimi Hendrix imitation. He did everything but light the guitar on fire! Jerry, Jim and I went to school together and as we became friends I started hanging out with them.

Many thanks to my good friend Mike Goydan for digging up the old pictures! He recently met some guys from the Kiss road crew and told them "Yeah..I used to play in a band called Creed...uh..no..not THAT one!"
