The pics above are from the 1974 Duke Williams and the Extremes album, "Fantastic Fedora".

From the cover of Duke's first album in 1973.

In 1978, when I first met Duke I told him I found this album at a shop in New Hope, I heard he went and bought every copy they had left since they were out of print by then.

Duke and Trenton singer Teresa Wiater onstage jamming with Wind at Angeloni's in May of 1976. No doubt playing something funky, Duke always plays something funky!

This was the first time I saw Duke and Paul Plumeri live. I remember they had a terrible PA and no lights but they played great. Paul playing the blues and Duke funking out with his primal screams and wind up siren. It was a truly intergalactic experience!
